Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Glossa Bible app and related services provided by SoulForge Tech LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two conflict, Apple’s terms prevail for the App Store copy.
1. The service
Glossa Bible lets you read the Bible in the Chinese Union Version and the King James Version, listen to AI-generated commentary, ask an AI study companion about passages, keep highlights, notes and memory cards, and download books for offline use. Features may change over time.
2. Accounts
- You may use the app as a guest. An account (email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google) lets you sync across devices.
- The account is shared with Glossa, another SoulForge Tech LLC app. One account, one set of data.
- Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. See Delete your account.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to harass or harm others, to probe or overload our systems, to extract data at scale, or to try to make the AI produce content that is illegal or harmful. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse.
4. AI content
Commentary scripts and audio, answers from the study companion, memory-card drafts and companion memory are generated by AI systems operated by third-party providers on our behalf. They are provided as an aid to reading and study, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not pastoral, theological, medical, legal or other professional advice. Read them alongside the Scripture itself and your own community.
5. Content and copyright
- Scripture: the King James Version and the Chinese Union Version (1919) are public-domain texts (in the United Kingdom, Crown rights in the KJV apply). We do not claim rights in the Scripture itself.
- Cross-references come from OpenBible.info under the CC-BY license. Commentary reference material comes from public-domain or openly licensed sources credited in the app’s Content & Copyright notice.
- AI commentary, AI answers, the app’s design, code and artwork are © SoulForge Tech LLC. You may use them for personal, non-commercial study. Do not redistribute or resell them.
- Your notes, highlights and memory cards are yours. You grant us only the license needed to store, sync and display them to you and to provide the features you use.
6. Availability and changes
We try to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, SoulForge Tech LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or, if none, zero).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which SoulForge Tech LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
